Mentmeth Libby

If you read my cREaTe blog last week, you'd know what a Montmess was.  Well, I guess technically it was always Montmeth.  And this week she's tweaked it into Mentmeth. What am I talking about?!  Oh ... it's the way Libby says PRINCESS.  She thinks she's royalty now.
[Libby & her friend Delaney]

Me:  "Are you fancy?" [photo above was me asking this question]
Libby: "No.  Mentmeth."

Me:  "Libby, are you a silly girl?"
Libby:  "No.  Mentmeth."

Me:  "Libby, are you beautiful?"
Libby:  "No.  Mentmeth."
Oh & here?  This was her this morning shouting "I'M. A. MENTMETH!"

She's now got a Mentmeth bed, in case you haven't seen.
The ultrasound from November 2006 might have announced it the 1st time ... but it's now official.  We have a GIRL!

Oochie Gucci Coo

*a KISS from Libby*

OMG there's a DIVA in the house. As if we didn't know that already. (see the gold watch she's wearing in the blog title photo?)

Libby's been Miss Clickety-Clicky lately with the ol' computer mouse. Not happy about that, but what can you do. The door to the office doesn't latch shut when you close it (old house) ... So I just walked in to sit down at the desktop computer & I saw this page open (link below).

Okay, true she could've just clicked on an ad ANYWHERE, but how did she GET HERE? Gucci does NOT seem to be the type of company that is struggling for business & needs to advertise with Hotmail (a window I had open).

Click here to see the item she apparently wants to add to her Christmas list. This was the page that was open. This coming from Miss Accessory. I'm not surprised...

Flashback Friday - The Cowgirl Outfit

There's a cowgirl outfit that has circulated my family starting with my mom when she was a little girl!

My mom is top right, my sister Becky is top left, I'm bottom left (no, that's not Davis w/ a mullet) & my sister Leah is bottom right.

Well, guess whose turn it is to wear it? Yep... the next female in line [and so far the only one] is little Libby.

Today I glanced up at the shelf above her crib & saw her hot pink cowgirl boots that I've had on display since they were given to us as a baby gift (by our dear friends' mom, Chris Lopez). So put 2 & 2 together... and guess what Libby's going to be for Halloween? She'll be a retro cowgirl with hot pink boots! :) I think I'll just add a hot pink turtle neck under the vest & she'll be good-to-go.

I already got the cowgirl boots down so she can start trying them on. Which she will. She is a total shoe freak trying on all my shoes, Kyle's, Brett's, Davis's, her own... and usually in random combos. (Davis's blue croc with my ummm...pick a shoe, any shoe...running shoe.) Then she ditches that "pair" she put together & will try on a new combo. Which leaves us with deserted random single shoes all over the house. I have a TON of pictures of her doing this from the past week... so I'll have to post about that after Flashback Friday has come & gone! :) HAVE A GOOD ONE!

The little Mommy

After realizing Libby loved playing with little baby dolls {surprised?} I finally got her some. She has boy & girl twins... which I have playfully nicknamed "Knox & Vivienne". (Tell me you know what I'm talking about) They are so cute, came with their own little bottles & smell like baby powder. She's really enjoyed playing with them!

Yesterday we had our neighbors over to play & their mom, Lisa, said "I bet she'd really love having a stroller..." So she ran down to the house & gave Libby one of the doll strollers her daughters have out grown. (Although Leah, the reaction was similar to Davis's when I told you Eli could have Davis's baby walker/ride-on toy) :)

Luckily, Libby's got a while to work on her Mommy skills. Although she has tender-loving moments with them, she also man-handles those twins, throws them down to the ground & even took their spot in the stroller. Someone's not ready to give up her role as the baby... and that's just fine with her Mommy! :)

My Girl

Libby & I have had a lot of Mother-Daughter time lately. All THREE boys went to Chicago last week & then all this week B & D have had summer camp! So Libs & I have had fun palling around, doing the girly thing. She's even more girly than me. Check out her bracelets! She's worn bracelets of all kinds every day for the past 2 weeks. She even found all her baby links (those plastic chains) & has been wearing them, too. She cracks me UP. She's so darn girly, I'm lovin' it.
