Oh ... My Children

I've seen kids play "Doctor", "Restaurant", "Family", "Beauty Shop", etc.  But never ... THIS.  Mickey & the Build-a-Bear look so violated.

A Day at the Farm ...

This past weekend some friends invited us out to their farm.  It was the most enjoyable experience we'd had in a long time = FUN FOR EVERYONE.  The setting was picture-perfect ... the scenery was just gorgeous & we were with some of our favorite people.

Kyle can never resist doing his whip-poor-will [<-- again, no idea that was how it was spelled] call when he's in this kind of setting.  And Davis can't resist a whole candy bar when there are S'mores being made.  :)

Libby's New 'Do ...

Libby's got a new look for summer.  The out-of-control-'fro just ... is driving me crazy.  I don't know what to do with it.  It's not growing long.  It's growing high & outward.  So here's what I've been doing the past couple of days.  :)  The more, the merrier.  

Happy Mother's Day!

We had a great Mother's Day weekend.  

On Saturday {after soccer games} we took Kyle's mom & dad out to lunch & gave Pat her gift. 

Then on Sunday ...

 ... I awoke to little voices telling me my breakfast was ready!  Blueberry pancakes with special designs in them.  I also had a plethora of homemade cards, planted seedlings, flowers & gifts!  Kyle left for the airport in the late afternoon, so me & the kids went to the park where we had it all to ourselves for most of the time.

And the good times will continue to roll later this week when we get to celebrate with my mom.  :)  Here she is in a couple of fun photos from some other visits.  As you can see ... she's a bit more than just a "hands-on" Grandma.  She rocks.  Can't wait to see my mom & dad - it's always a good time!  :)
